Please be advised the Village of Middleville PLANNING COMMISSION will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on June 7, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible to consider a SPECIAL LAND USE APPLICATION. The property to be considered for the Special Land Use Applications are located at parcel #08-41-130-025-00 (also known as 161 Irving Road). The public hearing will be held in the Council Chambers during the regular Planning Commission meeting, which any interested person can attend at 100 E. The Special Use Application to be considered seeks Planning Commission approval for consideration of a ground mounted solar energy collector located in the front yard at 161 Irving in the R-2 Medium Density Residential District. A ground mounted solar collector is permitted in the front yard, but not in the required front yard setback, as a special land use per Sec. 78-518(b)(4)(b) on lots 4 acres or larger, subject to the standards in Sec. 78-544. Parcel #08-41-130-025-00 has a lot size of 6.67 acres and front yard setback is 30 feet.
Any interested person may offer comments to the Planning Commission. Any interested person may attend the public hearing to obtain information about the Special Land Use application or to offer comments to the Planning Commission. A copy of the Special Land Use application is available for inspection at Village Hall located at 100 E.
