Please be advised the Village of Middleville Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible to consider an application for a variance on property located on parcel #08-41-126-001-90 (also known as 985 Grand Rapids St.). The hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, 100 E. Main Street, Middleville, MI 49333.
The application to be considered by the Zoning Board of Appeals seeks the following variance from the terms of the Village Code: Sec. 78-388(5), which requires a minimum lot width of 175 feet in the I-2 Heavy Industrial District. The applicant is seeking to divide the parcel, resulting in 50 feet in lot width for the child parcel, a variance of 125 feet.
Any interested person may attend the public hearing to offer comments to the Zoning Board of Appeals. A copy of the variance application is available for inspection at the Village office, 100 E. Main St., during regular business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or via email at email@example.com. Persons with special needs who wish to attend should contact the Village Clerk no less than 72 hours prior to the public hearing.
