Please be advised that the Village of Middleville PLANNING COMMISSION and VILLAGE COUNCIL, along with TK SCHOOLS, will participate in a walking tour for the purpose of discussing complete streets on December 5, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
The tentative schedule follows:
Stage vehicle(s) at Dog Park
- Start at Page Elementary back parking lot
- KEY STOP #1 – Bender Road – Note Rosenberg Field and proximity to Misty Ridge Subdivision and the TK Early Learning Center
- Walk along Bender Road to Bender/Main Intersection (goal is to be at the intersection at 2:35 to observe peak traffic)
- KEY STOP #2 – Bender/Main Street intersection – observe peak dismissal traffic from MS/HS
- Walk east on Main Street to Minstehr Drive to Oak View Drive to pathway leading to Lee Elementary
- KEY STOP #3 – Paved pathway from Rolling Oak subdivision to Lee Elementary School
- Walk through school parking lots to Village Dog Park/Community Garden parking loop
- KEY STOP #4 – Note gap in pedestrian connection between Lee Elementary & Seneca Ridge subdivision.
